Jen Maher has been in education for 17 years, as a dance teacher in private studios and public school, as a middle school math and science teacher, and most recently in the private sector providing professional learning in robotics and coding to K-12 teachers across the United States.
Jen's philosophy about kids: every single one learns in unique ways, has a wide variety of experiences at home and in the world, and every single child has the potential for greatness.
Jen's education: she started with a BA in Dance, feeding her creativity. She returned to get her MEd in Curriculum and Instruction in 2015. Most recently, she completed a MBA in 2025. Also in 2025, an opportunity to become a mindset facilitator came her way. In August, she became a David Bayer Certified Transformational Mindset Facilitator. That means she helps people see the beliefs they have about themself that are preventing their greatness from shining through, and helps them make new decisions that allow them to live their life in a way that is powerful and fulfilling.
It is a common saying in the technology world that, most kids today will be doing jobs that don't exist yet. So how do we prepare them for something that we can't see? We give them tools to solve problems. We give them attitudes of continual learning. We give them the confidence that they will be successful in facing the future.
Tiny Robot Central is a special place that fosters problem solving, and a mindset that drives continual learning and questioning along with the confidence that they can and will be successful.
